unextended
Kept at minimum
Unextended means not extended—lacking length, breadth, or physical dimension.
The term appears most often in philosophy, where it describes things that occupy no space: The mind, being unextended, cannot be measured.
Descartes distinguished between extended substance (matter) and unextended substance (mind).
Outside philosophy, unextended simply means not stretched out or not prolonged: an unextended deadline, an unextended warranty.
