uncoachable
Won't take direction
Uncoachable describes someone resistant to instruction or guidance, especially in sports or professional development.
An uncoachable athlete ignores feedback, dismisses criticism, or refuses to adjust their approach: The talent was there, but scouts called him uncoachable.
The label suggests attitude problems rather than lack of ability—someone who could improve but won't.
