uncleanable
Beyond all scrubbing
Something uncleanable cannot be cleaned—the stain won't come out, the surface won't come clear.
The word usually describes messes so embedded or materials so damaged that no amount of scrubbing will restore them: The carpet was uncleanable after the flood.
Figuratively, an uncleanable reputation is permanently tarnished.
