unblessed
Lacking sacred favor
Unblessed means not having received a blessing, whether religious or otherwise.
A meal might go unblessed, or a union unblessed by the church.
The word extends to anything lacking favor or approval: Their venture went unblessed by fortune.
It can also suggest being cursed or unfortunate: unblessed with good looks.
