stickied

Stickied describes a post or thread that has been pinned to the top of a forum, subreddit, or social media feed so it remains visible regardless of newer content.

Moderators or administrators typically sticky important announcements, rules, or frequently asked questions.

Check the stickied post before asking—your question might already be answered.

The term derives from the idea of a sticky note affixed to keep something prominent.
