special creation
God-made, not evolved
Special creation is the belief that God or a divine being created each species of life separately and in its present form, rather than through evolution from common ancestors.
The term appears most often in debates between creationism and evolutionary biology: Proponents of special creation reject the fossil record as evidence of gradual change.
