sore winners
Boastful after triumphing
Sore winners are people who gloat, taunt, or behave ungraciously after winning—the mirror image of sore losers.
Where sore losers can't accept defeat, sore winners can't accept victory with dignity: He was a sore winner, rubbing their faces in it long after the game ended.
The phrase captures how winning doesn't guarantee class.
