preponed
Shifted to sooner
Preponed means moved to an earlier time—the opposite of postponed.
The word is standard in Indian English but sounds foreign to most American and British speakers: The meeting has been preponed to 2 p.m.
Can we prepone our call to tomorrow?
Outside South Asia, "moved up" or "rescheduled earlier" are the usual alternatives.
