oftener
With greater regularity
Oftener is the comparative form of often, meaning more frequently.
Though grammatically correct, it sounds old-fashioned or stilted to most modern ears, who prefer more often: I should call my mother more often.
Oftener persists in some regional dialects and older literature: He visited oftener than before.
