moves along

Continues on forward

Moves along means to continue forward or make progress, often after a pause or delay: Let's move along, we're running late.

It can also mean to leave a place, sometimes at someone's urging: The security guard told the loiterers to move along.

When things move along, they proceed or develop: The project is moving along nicely.
