deep-set eyes
Eyes in shadow
Eyes that sit farther back in the skull than average, creating more prominent brow bones and a shadowed appearance around the eye sockets.
The term appears most often in physical descriptions: His deep-set eyes gave him a brooding, intense look.
Deep-set eyes are neither attractive nor unattractive by default—simply a structural feature that affects how light falls on the face.
