Moses baskets
Portable baby beds
A Moses basket is a portable woven bassinet for infants, typically made of wicker or palm with handles on either side.
The name alludes to the biblical story of baby Moses set adrift in a basket among the reeds.
Parents use them for newborns in the first months: She carried the sleeping baby downstairs in the Moses basket.
