Luella
Old-fashioned girl's name
Luella is a feminine given name, a variant of Louella, combining Lou (from Louise or Louis) with the common name-ending -ella.
It has an old-fashioned, Southern American flavor: Aunt Luella always made the best pecan pie.
The name saw modest popularity in the early twentieth century and has recently attracted parents seeking vintage names.
