Who We Are

IDEA is a 501(c)(3) that makes educational games and reference tools. No investors. Some pages may show ads, which help keep free resources like the dictionary free.

The Details

What Google Analytics Sees

When you visit idea.org, Google Analytics records which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, your general region (not your street address), and your browser/device type. It does NOT record your name, email, IP address, or anything that identifies you personally.

Advertising

Some pages on idea.org may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads in My Ad Center, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first.

If You Email Us

If you contact us via our contact page, we receive your email. We use it only to reply to you. We don’t add you to any list.

Kids

We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. There’s nothing to collect.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Given how little we collect, don’t expect drama.

IDEA has been making complex things accessible since 1999. That includes privacy policies.
