searing hot
Painfully, blazingly warm
Searing hot describes extreme heat—hot enough to burn on contact.
The phrase is somewhat redundant, since searing already implies intense heat that chars or cauterizes: The searing hot pavement burned her bare feet.
It emphasizes temperature more dramatically than hot alone.
