Inebriated phone calls
Drunk dialling is calling someone on the phone while intoxicated, typically late at night, often to an ex-partner or someone you wouldn't contact sober.
The combination of alcohol and easy phone access leads to confessions, arguments, or rambling messages later regretted: I woke up mortified after drunk dialling my ex at 2 a.m.
Also spelled drunk dialing.
