Why your support matters
IDEA’s supporters see the value of IDEA’s core belief: that education and information are the key to improving people’s lives. They believe in the power of technology to enhance learning and to bridge the gap between those who have access to information and those who do not. Their support releases the potential of technology to improve education for gifted students engaged in creative work, for underserved students in areas where there are not enough books or educators, and for students who are visual or non-linear learners.
With your help, IDEA is revolutionizing the ways information is presented and received, and is tackling the challenges of a world where people are overwhelmed with information. We are committed to developing unique and innovative core technologies like SpicyNodes, which enables complex sets of information to be explained easily, and using those technologies to respond to real-world needs. In some cases, these implementations enhance people’s lives by enriching learning experiences (see IDEA’s WebExhibits). In other applications, IDEA’s innovations help to save lives (see IDEA’s ProstateCalculator).
